Terms of Service — Enzz FarmTrack
Effective date: 29 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Enzz Technologies Limited ("Enzz", "we", "us"), Nakuru, Kenya, for the use of Enzz FarmTrack: the Android app, the vet web portal and the milk buyer check page (together, "FarmTrack"). By using FarmTrack you accept these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of these terms.
1. Who may use FarmTrack
- You must be 18 or older.
- Farm owners open a farm with an access code from Enzz. An access code works once, and only within its validity period. It may be limited to one email address.
- Managers, workers, vets and milk buyers use FarmTrack only when a farm owner invites them or gives them a code or link. Their access ends when the owner removes it.
- You must give your own correct email address and keep access to it. Sign-in codes are sent there.
2. The farm owner's responsibilities
The owner of a farm in FarmTrack:
- decides who joins the farm and what each person may see, and is responsible for everyone they invite;
- is responsible for the farm's records, including records about workers, and for having a lawful reason to keep them. Before workers use FarmTrack, the owner tells them what is recorded, including the clock-in selfie and the location read at certain events (see the Privacy Policy, section 3.4);
- deactivates people who leave, and blocks a lost phone, promptly;
- keeps the information they enter about others (vets, buyers, workers) accurate.
3. Plans and payment
- Trial: a farm may start with a free trial for the period stated with its access code.
- Paid plans: the price and period are agreed with Enzz when the plan is bought. Payment is made to Enzz outside the app, for example by M-Pesa or bank transfer. FarmTrack itself never asks for or handles payment details.
- Paid until: the plan runs to the date shown. For 7 days after that date the farm keeps working while the owner is reminded that payment is due. After that the farm becomes read-only until the plan is renewed.
- Read-only means records can be viewed and exported but nothing new can be added. No records are lost. Records the law requires a farm to keep stay viewable.
- Limits: a plan may limit the number of managers and workers, and the number of animals. Over the team limit, nobody new can be added. Over the animal limit, records still save and the owner is reminded.
- Fees already paid are not refunded for a period that has started, unless the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.
4. Your farm's records
- The farm owns its records. Enzz holds and processes them to provide FarmTrack, as the Privacy Policy describes.
- The owner can export registers and reports at any time, and can ask us for a full export of the farm's records and photos.
- Records are not deleted one by one: a wrong record is voided with a reason, and every change is kept in an audit log that nobody can edit. This is how FarmTrack keeps records trustworthy, and you agree to it.
- You must not enter false records, or use FarmTrack to mislead a buyer, a vet, an inspector, a lender or an insurer.
5. What FarmTrack does not replace
- Veterinary advice. FarmTrack records treatments and works out withdrawal dates from what is entered. It is not a vet. Always follow the medicine's label and your vet. You remain responsible for not selling milk or meat from an animal under withdrawal.
- Legal and tax advice. Registers, reports and the cash book help keep records; they are not legal, accounting or tax advice.
- Security on the ground. Alerts about missing animals, exits without a pass or unusual patterns help the owner notice problems early. They do not prevent theft, and an alert is not proof that anyone did wrong. Check the facts before acting against a person.
6. Using FarmTrack properly
You must not:
- share your sign-in code or PIN, or use another person's account;
- try to see another farm's records, get around a permission, or weaken the app's security;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer FarmTrack, except as the law allows;
- use FarmTrack for anything unlawful, or to harass or watch a person beyond what the farm's work needs;
- use anonymous messages to threaten or abuse anyone.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, after telling the owner where that is possible.
7. Offline use and availability
FarmTrack is built to work without internet; records are sent when there is a connection. Records still on a phone that is lost, reset or signed out before they are sent can be lost: sync regularly, and sign out only when the app shows everything is sent.
We work to keep FarmTrack available, but it can be interrupted for maintenance, by network or hosting problems, or by events outside our control. We keep nightly encrypted backups for 30 days.
8. Changes to FarmTrack and these terms
FarmTrack will change as it improves; new versions of the app are sent to the farm by its owner. We may update these terms. We will change the effective date and, for significant changes, tell farm owners in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use FarmTrack after that means you accept the new terms.
9. Ending use
- An owner may stop using FarmTrack at any time, and may ask us to close the farm. We first give the owner an export of the records.
- We may end or suspend a farm's access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if fees remain unpaid after the farm has become read-only, after notice to the owner.
- Sections 4, 5, 10 and 11 continue after use ends.
10. Liability
FarmTrack is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for loss of animals, milk, income or profit, or for decisions made using FarmTrack's records, alerts or reports;
- our total liability for any claim related to FarmTrack is limited to the fees the farm paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking with you. If that fails, the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
