We build for people who don't have access yet.
Most tools for business, learning and work are designed for people who already have access. Ours start from a shop owner in an informal market, a learner in a rural school, and a jobseeker without a certificate.
The digital divide has changed shape.
The question used to be whether someone had a phone. Kenya has largely answered that. The question now is whether people can turn that connection into income, proof of skill and work.
That's why every Enzz feature is judged first by the access problem it solves, second by whether it multiplies what a person can produce rather than only making the same work faster, and third by how easy it feels.
Why Kenya first
Mobile-first
- Mobile connectivity and mobile money are part of everyday economic life, and smartphone use keeps rising.
A huge small-business economy
- Around 7.4 million MSMEs, most with no records beyond memory and no presence online. Exactly who Biashara is for.
Informal work drives jobs
- Most new jobs come from the informal sector, so making small businesses work better is economic infrastructure, not just software.
Education is changing
- The CBC asks whether a learner can reliably do something, unaided, in more than one setting. Most marks-based tools can't answer that. Taalo can.
Work is going digital
- Employment services are modernising. AOIS makes sure people on basic phones aren't left out of that.
Three principles behind every feature
Multipliers over friction reducers
Before building, we ask: does this make existing work a bit faster, or does the system do the work so the same person produces more? Both ship. Multipliers win the tie.
Built for local reality
Low-cost Android phones, feature phones, patchy connections, Kiswahili, M-Pesa. Designed for here, not adapted from elsewhere.
Honest about status
Every page says what is live, what is being proven and what is planned. We'd rather tell you what isn't finished than let you find out.
What we refuse to do
These apply to every product. They're written into our privacy policy too.
- We don't sell personal informationTo anyone, for any reason.
- No advertising trackersNo advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in our apps, no advertising IDs, and no trackers on this website.
- No National IDWe don't ask for one to use any product.
- No biometricsWhere an app offers a fingerprint or face lock, your phone checks it. We never receive it.
- No background locationLocation is read only while you use a feature that needs it.
- Your content doesn't train AIWhat you give us is not sent to train AI models.
- No charging people to be foundJobseekers never pay on AOIS. Shoppers never pay to use Pata.
- No paid rankingA shop can't pay to appear above another on Pata.
- AI doesn't decide what mattersNot who is hired, not a child's level, not what is sent or paid in your name. People decide; AI drafts and suggests.
- No scam scores or face checks on AOISWe rely on confirmed phones, reviews and reporting instead.
Where we're headed
Deliberately staged: prove the model before chasing scale.
Year 1: Prove the model
Nakuru first. Prove Biashara onboarding and Pata demand. Pilot Taalo and AOIS.
Year 2: Across Kenya
Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa and Eldoret. School and sales partnerships.
Year 3: Network effects
People using more than one product, and the products making each other stronger.
Year 4: East Africa
Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
Year 5: An African platform
Opportunity infrastructure for the continent, not just a product company.
What Enzz means
Enzz stands for Ecosystem for the Next Zenith Zones.
Ecosystem
Not five separate apps, but products that feed each other: a learner becomes a candidate, a worker becomes an entrepreneur, a shop becomes discoverable.
Next Zenith
Each product lifts a person to their next high point: a proven skill, paid work, a business that runs properly, customers who can find it.
Zones
Built zone by zone: Nakuru first, then Kenya, East Africa and Africa.
Enzz is built by Enzz Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of RONEP Engineering Solutions Limited, based in Nakuru, Kenya.
Build it with us.
