Terms of Service
Version: 1.0
Effective date: 14 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Enzz Technologies Limited ("Enzz", "we", "us"), a subsidiary of RONEP Engineering Solutions Limited, Nakuru, Kenya, for using our products and this website. By using them you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the products.
How we handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
1. The products
These terms cover:
- Enzz Business / Biashara — software for running a small business (Android app and biashara.enzz.co.ke);
- Enzz Pata — finding local shops and ordering from them (Android app and pata.enzz.co.ke);
- Enzz Taalo — competency records for schools (in development);
- AOIS — information about work, gigs and training (in development);
- Enzz Agent — handing work to AI agents (in development);
- enzz.co.ke — this website.
Products marked "In development" may be offered to a limited group first. They may change, and some features may not be available to everyone.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password, PIN and owner's key private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account, except learners added to Taalo by their school.
- Tell us at support@enzz.co.ke if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Using the products fairly
Don't use any Enzz product to:
- break the law, or deceive or harm anyone;
- list or sell goods or services that are illegal;
- post false job offers, ask jobseekers for money, or collect people's details for other purposes;
- upload content you have no right to use, or that is abusive, sexual or violent;
- try to reach other people's accounts or data, overload or attack our systems, or copy the products' data in bulk;
- get around plan limits or usage limits.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why.
4. Your content
You own what you put into our products: your business records, shop page, photos, evidence, files and messages. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the product for you. For example, your Biashara shop page, products and offers are shown to shoppers on Pata.
5. Biashara: plans and payments
- Biashara has a free plan and paid plans. What each plan includes and costs is shown on the Pricing page and in the app.
- In the Android app, plans are bought and renewed through Google Play under Google's terms; cancel them in Google Play. On the web, plans are paid by M-Pesa for the period you choose.
- A paid plan covers the whole business, including its employees.
- When a plan ends and is not renewed, the business moves to the free plan. Your records stay.
- Payments are for the period bought and are not refunded for unused time, except where the law requires or Google Play's own refund rules apply.
- We will give notice before a price change applies to your next period.
6. Pata: shops are independent
Shops on Pata are independent businesses. When you order, your agreement for the goods is with the shop: the shop is responsible for the goods, their price, delivery and any refund. Pata takes no payment; you pay the shop directly. Delivery fees shown are the shop's own prices. We are not a party to the sale, but we want to hear about a shop that behaves badly: tell us at support@enzz.co.ke.
7. AOIS: an information service
AOIS shares information about opportunities and people. It does not employ anyone, place workers or act as an employment agency, and takes no fee when someone is hired. We don't check every opportunity or guarantee any job. "Verified" means an employer's phone was confirmed and the account reviewed by AOIS staff; it is not a guarantee about the job. Jobseekers never pay AOIS. Anyone asking for money in our name is not us.
8. Taalo: for schools
Schools and teachers decide who is added to Taalo and must have the agreement of each learner's parent or guardian. Competency levels are worked out by fixed rules from the evidence a teacher records; they support the teacher's professional judgement and do not replace it.
9. AI in our products
Several features use AI to answer, draft, read or summarise. AI can be wrong. In Biashara and Enzz Agent, actions happen only after you confirm them; check what you confirm. You remain responsible for decisions you make using AI output, such as prices, tax filings, hiring and grades.
10. Reports, tax figures and records
Reports, profit figures and tax estimates are calculated from the records you enter and are guides, not accounting, tax or legal advice. Check important figures, such as tax returns, before relying on them.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the products available and your data safe, but we can't promise they will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering a product, we will give reasonable notice and a way to get a copy of your data.
12. Liability
To the extent Kenyan law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost business, arising from use of the products, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Kenyan consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
13. Ending
You can stop using a product and delete your account at any time; see Delete your account. We may close an account under section 3, or one unused for a long time after giving notice.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@enzz.co.ke so we can try to fix it. Disputes that can't be resolved are for the courts of Kenya.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the version and date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the product or by email before they apply.
