Work shouldn't depend on who you already know.
AOIS, the Africa Opportunity Intelligence System (formerly Enzz Fursa), tells people about work, gigs and training near them, on any phone, and tells employers who fits.
In development. Dial, don't download: AOIS is built for USSD and SMS first, so it works on a basic phone with no data.

The gap it fills
| Without it | With AOIS |
|---|---|
| Work is found through who you know | A match arrives by SMS because of your skill and your county |
| Job sites need a smartphone, data and a CV | Register and check matches by dialling a USSD code on any phone |
| Skills learned by doing count for nothing without a certificate | Reputation is built from a confirmed phone number, ratings and completed jobs |
| Jobseekers are charged “registration fees” by scammers | Jobseekers never pay. That is a fixed rule |
| Vacancies are scattered across county websites, PDFs and noticeboards | Public notices are collected into one place, with their source recorded |
| You don't know which college near you teaches the skill you want | About 20,000 TVET courses matched to what you say you want to learn, by county |
| Big jobs go to firms because one person can't take them | Workers form a team with a join code and take the job together |
| Identity checks shut out people without documents | No National ID, no face or fingerprint check, by design |
Two sides, one rule: the jobseeker never pays
If you're looking for work
- Register by USSD or on the web: name, phone, county and area, skills
- Add what you want to learn, separately from what you can do
- Matches by skill and county the moment you add a skill, and again regularly
- Matching understands real wording: “baking” finds “Bakery and Confectionery”
- Record a finished course and it becomes a skill
- Rate the employer who hired you, and read your own reviews
- Create or join a team with a short code
If you're hiring
- Register and post an opportunity on the web
- See matched candidates
- Choose who you hired from the matched list, and rate them
- Mark a listing filled, expired or removed
- Confirm your phone by SMS code; after a review by AOIS staff you get a Verified badge
How you hear about it
- The channel follows your phone: SMS and USSD on a basic phone; WhatsApp, email or app notifications on a smartphone
- You're never told about the same opportunity twice
Learn a trade near you
About 20,000 TVET courses from the national catalogue, matched to what a person says they want to learn and filtered by county. If your county has none, AOIS suggests the nearest ones.
Finish a course, record it, and that interest becomes a skill employers can match.
Every opportunity in one place
Public vacancy notices from county governments are gathered, including those published as PDFs. Expired notices and shortlists are skipped, and every listing records where it came from. Staff turn anything that can't be read safely into a listing by hand.
Counties whose notices AOIS already reads:

AOIS will never ask you to pay.
If someone asks you for money to get work through AOIS, it is not us. Report it to support@enzz.co.ke.
- An information service, not an agencyAOIS doesn't place workers and takes no fee when someone is hired.
- What “Verified” meansThe employer's phone is confirmed and the account was reviewed by AOIS staff. It isn't a guarantee about the job.
- No ID, no biometricsNo National ID, no face or fingerprint check, and no automated “scam score”. These are choices, not gaps.
- Who paysJobseekers and one-off household employers use it free. Businesses and institutions will pay; prices will be announced.
